LOCATION :Ambarli port is located on the North shores of the sea of Marmara. Ambarli Port Complex is located 34 km. Away from Istanbul and is very close to TEM and E-5 highways. The port is divided into 2 region. Region No.1 Ambarli New Port, located to the west of the oil terminals, consisting of privately owned dry, bulk anf container terminals. Region No.2 consists of the oil platforms, jetties and mooring buoys.

RESTRICTIONS: Tankers are restricted to daylight berthing only. All other vessels berth thought 24 hours.
ANCHORAGE AREAS :The anchorage is located to the West of the ports holding ground good.(Information on best location of anchorage will be given by Pilot station).

PILOTAGE : : is compulsory for berthing and unberthing and anchoring, Call ARPAS Pilot on VHF channels 12, 16 two hours before arrival at Ambarli.Pilots boarding point is located in position Lat. 40 56.7 N, Long.28 40.5 E. ARPAS, which has been providing Pilotage and Tug-Boat services within the boundaries of the Ambarli Port since 4.09.1998.
